We would like to especially thank His Excellence Ministry of ICT in Jordan for his patronage and support for this event. This is the first such event of this scale for Information Security in Jordan and we want to thank all the invited speakers, sponsors and delegates who have come to make it a successful event.

The theme of this conference is the Future of Cyber Security and how that will impact our daily business and personal lives. The agenda we have put together for the next two days combines the insight of hardware, software, services and analysts who specialize in this fast past and challenging domain.

As a result of the great advancements in the ICT industry, the world has become a mesh of interconnected networks connecting governments to their constituents, students to their universities, consumers to their vendors and much more. Along with these amazing achievements of increased social and professional networking opportunities; an increased number of security risks continue to be created, discovered and exploited.

In order to cope with the IT security landscapes growth, complexity and sophistication – the need to devise total security solutions to combat such risks and vulnerabilities has become vital and imminent.

The goals for this conference are:

– Increased awareness of cyber and information security issues

– Understanding more about possible solutions from industry

– Networking of delegates to share experiences to foster cooperation

We hope that you will enjoy the conference and benefit from it.
