Dimitrios has twenty five years of professional experience in IT of which the last seventeen were dedicated in Information Security. He has a long track record in performing Information Security R&D, risk analyses, penetrations tests, technical security and compliance audits for large enterprises in a number of countries. He currently serves as the CEO of I(TS)2. He holds an MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway (University of London) and a number of industry certifications including CISSP, CISA, ISO27001 LA & PCI-DSS QSA.

In today’s fast-evolving and unpredictable IT landscape, Information Security is struggling to keep up, equipped with tools and convictions of the past. The presentation will argue in the favour of changing three fundamental security paradigms, namely those of security architectures with emphasis in perimeter protection, preventive security controls and the cultural axioms of the Information Security organisation in order to embrace the unavoidable changes and effectively serve the enterprises they are tasked with protecting.
