Biography
Mohamad Amin Hasbini joined Kaspersky Lab in 2013 as a Senior Security Researcher in the Global Research & Analysis Team (GReAT) with around 5 years of experience. Amin is responsible for Kaspersky expert positioning in the Middle East and Africa, research development and threat intelligence support of the regional office in Dubai, UAE.
Prior to joining Kasperksy Lab, Amin was a Senior Information Security and Privacy Consultant at Deloitte & Touche Middle East and before that a Security Network Engineer at DataConsult Lebanon. Amin worked on Infrastructure services, Consulting and Penetration Testing projects for Government entities, Banks and Service providers especially in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Lebanon. He also taught multiple Information Security courses, like ‘EcCouncil Certified Ethical Hacker’, ‘Cisco CCNA Security’ and ‘Malware Forensics and investigation’.
Amin is specialized in Cyber and Advanced Persistent threats and defense, Offensive Security, Malware landscape and UNIX based open source tools and systems. He has a Professional Master degree in Telecommunications Security of Networks and Systems (Saint-Joseph University, Beirut), also has different certifications from ECCOUNCIL (LPT,CEH, CEI…), CISCO (CCSP…), RSA (CSE…), Harvard Business Publishing (HME, HLE) and British Standards Institution (ISO 27k LI).
