Biography
I then joined Tata Honeywell, the market leader in the area of industrial process automation, where I spent 6 years, and worked on plant automation projects with companies in a diverse range of industries (steel, cement, chemicals & petrochemicals, oil & gas, power generation, paper & pulp, etc.). Then moving from industrial automation to business automation, I worked with SAP India from early 2000 to early 2005 (with a brief interlude of 8 months at EMC India), where I performed several sales management roles, handling sales of SAP solutions to the manufacturing, utilities, telecom and ITS/ITES sectors. I then worked with NCR Corporation India for a year, gaining exposure and insights into the retail strategies of banks, specifically with regard to their ATM deployment strategies. I then joined Oracle Corporation India as Sales Director, handling Oracle’s extensive portfolio of Technology Software (and NOT Applications), including Databases, Data Warehousing, Identity Management, SOA,etc., across all industry & government verticals for Western India. After three very successful years at Oracle, I had a very brief stint at IBM India, as VP for Websphere Sales, and then moved to Experian India where I was responsible for the Decision Analytics portfolio of software solutions and services, catering to the retail credit risk and fraud requirements of companies in the banking / financial services and telecom segments. I then moved back to SAP India to head Sales for all consulting services, and implement the transformation and growth strategies for this business area. I am now with KPMG India, implementing a sales approach for the Management Consulting practice.
