Samer Omar is a seasoned subject matter expert with over 24 years’ experience in the areas of Cyber Security Advisory, Consultancy and Security Management as well as experience in Business Development, Project Management and Architecting Solutions in the Information Technology and Telecommunications industries. He is a serial entrepreneur who understands how to leverage technology to solve problems and make people’s lives better.

Mr. Omar is currently the Chief Executive Officer of VirtuPort where he leverages his experience to promote Cyber Security Thought Leadership via MENA ISC and Hackathons, Cyber Security Advisory Services and Cyber Security Products to clients throughout the Middle East & North Africa.

Prior to that Mr. Omar helped modernize the Security Risk Management & Compliance functions at du, promote Verizon’s Cyber Security Portfolio to clients throughout MEA in addition to expanding Qualys to clients in MENA as they launched their IPO. Mr. Omar is also the co-founder of IT Security Training & Solutions – I(TS)2 where he was the CEO from 8 years and helped the company become the most recognized and respected Cyber Security company in Saudi Arabia with over 150 people.
