Biography
Dr James Blake is the Global Consulting Strategist for Micro Focus Cyber Security Services. Micro Focus Cyber Security Services have designed, built and matured the cyber security operations capability – as well as responding to major breaches – for some of the largest organisations across the globe including a number in the Middle East region.
His practice has proven experience in aligning the business risk, people, process and technology aspects of log management, security event and information management, analytics, hunt teams and cyber threat intelligence into an operational capability that demonstrates value to the business.
He will be bringing insights from the over 220 assessments Micro Focus have conducted on cyber security operations within organisations across the globe.
Prior to Micro Focus, Dr Blake was the Global Director of Cyber Security Operations Integration for JPMorgan Chase and is the former Chief Information Security Officer of Mimecast, a global Software-as-a-Service vendor providing email security solutions. He has over 25 years’ experience in operational and managerial roles in information security.
