Biography

Cyril advises C-level executives from leading public & private sector organizations in France, and Middle East and Africa, on strategic security, risk, and business change issues and opportunities with digital transformation.


To fulfil his mission, he works mostly with Chief Information Officers and Chief Information Security Officers of strategic organizations as well as Partners and international Microsoft teams.

His expertise spans information security, privacy and compliance for cloud, critical infrastructures, national consumer awareness, incident response management, cybercrime fighting and new security architectures.

Cyril is passionate about helping organizations understand the evolving threat landscape, adjust their security posture to protect against threats, and get value by leveraging the right solutions.

Cyril has been a frequent speaker at industry conferences including Cybertech in Israel, RSA Conference Abu Dhabi, South Africa Government Summit, Microsoft Techdays in France…

Cyril Voisin has 20 years of experience in the software industry. Before joining Microsoft, Cyril was main developer of a medical record management system. Cyril joined Microsoft’s France subsidiary in 1997 initially as a presales engineer and then moved in different roles before relocating to Dubai from 2011 to 2017 to take on regional responsibility on security. Prior to his appointment, Cyril was CSO for MEA, and previously Chief Technology Officer of Microsoft Gulf.

Cyril is a Gold Medalist of Arts et Métiers ParisTech. Cyril has been based out of Paris since December 2017. Cyril is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT).
