Biography

Andrew de Lange is a Technical Director for Anomali. Andrew has over 16 years of experience in cybersecurity, with the bulk of that time spent in Financial Services and Banking. Before joining Anomali, Andrew was the head of Threat Intelligence for a major bank, and he is an evangelist for Cyber Threat Intelligence collaboration initiatives and community-driven defence.

How does XDR evolution differ from the so-called traditional SOC approach?

The term XDR is a novelty in the cyber world and everyone has their own understanding of what it means. In this workshop, Anomali will present the use cases on which an effective XDR deployment should be based, why they are so important and how they differ from a so-called traditional SOC approach. Anomali will also present its latest findings on cyber threats in French-speaking regions and how Threat Intelligence lends a hand to cyber analysts wishing to evolve from a reactive approach to a proactive approach.
