Ray Kafity, Vice President – Xage Security Middle East, Turkey, Africa & India (METAI) has extensive experience in Sales and Marketing Management of high-tech solutions. Solid emphasis on Information Technology/Telecommunications including Wide Area and Local Area Networking and Cyber Security Solutions. Extensive industry experience in broadband telcommunications, Internet Acceleration through Caching Appliances, Internet/Web Content Security Networks and Application acceleration and various IT/OT Cyber Security prevention and detection solutions. In-depth International and Middle East , Turkey and Africa Sales and Marketing Management experience sepcifically in Critical Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, Utilities, PTT, ISP ,Wirless Service providers and major fortune 2000 enterprises. Business development management expertise of complex projetcs of volumes up to $100 Million/Year. Strong accentuation on solution selling adopting the Holden Methodology. Heavy and strong emphasis on Internet Security and next generation Cyber threat landscape and defenses. Kafity is also known for his extensive industry experience in Broadband Telecommunications, Internet Acceleration through Caching Appliances, Networks and Application Acceleration and Optimization solutions , Internet and Web Content and Advanced Cyber Security solutions. Prior to Xage Security , Kafity was the VP of Attivo Networks, Middle East, Turkey & Africa where he exceptionally directed the business of Attivo Networks from $300K in 2016 to $11M in 2021 and expanded the organization from 3 in 2016 to 15 in 2021. Prior to Attivo Networks, Kafity was the VP of FireEye Middle East, Turkey & Africa where he succeeded in taking FireEye revenues from $300K in 2010 to over $30 Million in 2015 and grew the organization tremendously from 2 people in 2010 to over 72 people in 2015. Prior to FireEye, Kafity was the Regional Sales Director for IronPort Systems in Middle East and Africa before it was acquired by Cisco in June 2007. Prior to that, Kafity was the General Manager for Blue Coat Systems (Formerly CacheFlow) for the Middle East in Dubai. His primary responsibility included sales and marketing of Blue Coat Systems (Formerly CacheFlow) Internet Caching and Security Appliances and associated services across 19 countries in the Middle East. Kafity has worked with Lucent InterNetworking Systems – Dubai, Iridium Middle East Corporation – Dubai and Newbridge Networks (Middle East) – Bahrain among others.
