Ahmed Fakahany is currently the lead Security Architect in IBM KSA, overseeing the complete security technology offerings of IBM. Ahmed helps organization and enterprises to better realize the cyber threat they face and to help them achieve their business objectives with well architected Security solutions.

Ahmed has worked in the cybersecurity field for the past 15 years and has fulfilled a variety of services, presales, business development roles with leading multinational companies during which he covered responsibilities across Egypt, North Africa, GCC and Pakistan.

Ahmed has a B.Sc. degree from the American University in Cairo where he graduated with a major in Computer Science and two minors in Physics and Electronics. In addition to his professional career achievement, Ahmed is a passionate science communicator, an adventure Traveler and an astronomy enthusiast.
